Marc Márquez joins Mondraker

With an incredible ten World Championship titles between them, the Márquez brothers, Marc and Alex, have chosen to ride Mondraker bikes as a key part of the physical conditioning regime required to reach championship winning form.

Whatever they’re riding, Marc and Alex demand machines that won’t hold them back, so with our range of podium-proven bikes, it was a simple decision to team up with Mondraker. To enable them to take their mountain bike training to the next level, we have armed the two brothers from Cervera with a pair of unique F-Podium RRs that have been exclusively customized just for them.

Marc is World Champion in three categories – 125cc, Moto2 and MotoGP – and is the youngest rider ever to win the overall victory in MotoGP. To mark the identity of this champion, his fully customized F-Podium RR is decked out in the colors and design from his motorcycle helmet and features his iconic race number – 93.

Marc and Alex will use their F-Podium RRs for their aerobic training during pre-season and the weeks outside of race season. Their fellow team members will also ride F-Podium bikes to help make each training session more effective, more analytical and more fun – something that is a key part of the Márquez philosophy. While the brothers are champions in the world of motorcycling, they are incredibly skilled on two wheels of any kind. Should they ever decide to turn their focus to competitive cycling, we’re in no doubt that they could make names for themselves here too.

Marc and Alex received their customized Mondraker F-Podium RR from Miguel Pina (Mondraker CEO) and Yuriy Tomas (Mondraker Marketing Director), who travelled to Cervera to present the bikes to the brothers in person.

Marc was very happy with his new bike and comments: “Unfortunately I haven’t been able to test it yet because of the injury, but aesthetically it is spectacular. The shapes of the tubes give a unique personality to the F-Podium and it is really beautiful. We’re going to enjoy it a lot.”.
